ViiTor Translate for Zoom Guide
1. Unable to Find or Launch ViiTor Translate App
Issue: I can’t find or open the ViiTor Translate app in my Zoom meeting.
Solution:
- Ensure the app is properly installed and that you're logged into the correct Zoom account.
- Click the “Apps” button at the bottom of the Zoom meeting window to view installed apps.
- If the app is still not visible, restart Zoom or update to the latest version.
- Visit the Zoom App Marketplace and reinstall ViiTor Translate.
2. Translation Content Not Displaying / Empty
Issue: The translation panel is empty or not updating.
Solution:
- Confirm that the host has successfully started the ViiTor Translate session.
- Check if you have joined the translation session and selected your target language.
- If the issue persists, try leaving and rejoining the session.
- An unstable network connection may cause delays; ensure your network is stable.
3. Unable to Change Language or Display Mode
Issue: I can't change the target language or display mode.
Solution:
- Click the top menu bar in the app to change language and display settings.
- If the menu is unresponsive, refresh the Zoom app or leave and rejoin the session.
- Check if the issue is related to permissions for the host or participant.
4. App Crashing / Freezing / Not Responding
Issue: The app crashes, freezes, or becomes unresponsive.
Solution:
- Close Zoom and restart it, or reboot your device.
- Ensure your system and Zoom versions are compatible.
- If the problem persists, uninstall and reinstall the app.
- You can submit logs and issue details to the ViiTor Translate support team.
5. Unable to Access Translation Page via Browser
Issue: I can't open the browser translation link.
Solution:
- Ensure the host has shared the correct link and that it has not expired.
- Use a modern browser (e.g., Chrome, Edge, Safari) that supports current web standards.
- Clear your browser cache or try opening the link in incognito/private mode.
6. Other Participants Can't See the Translation
Issue: Other participants don’t see translations.
Solution:
- Confirm that they have joined the translation session and set their target language.
- Ask them to check if they installed the app or are accessing the translation via a browser.
- Ensure the host has successfully started the translation session and has not manually ended it.
